Fermented milk is an alcoholic beverage consumed in Essos.
Varieties
Varieties include mare's milk of the Dothraki,[1] a goat's milk called nahsa by the Norvoshi,[2] and zorse milk of the Jogos Nhai.[3]

Daenerys Targaryen thinks the Dothraki's fermented mare's milk is sour-smelling and thick with clots.[4]
