Stara Kamienica
Stara Kamienica [ˈstara kamjɛˈnit͡sa] (German: Alt Kemnitz) is a village in Karkonosze County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Stara Kamienica.

It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) west of Jelenia Góra, and 106 kilometres (66 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village has a population of 1,200.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and is derived from the word kamień, which means "stone".[2]
There is a railway station in the village.
