Miss Universe 1956 was the 5th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Long Beach Municipal Auditorium in Long Beach, California, United States on 20 July 1956.

At the end of the event, Hillevi Rombin of Sweden crowned Carol Morris of the United States as Miss Universe 1956.[1] Morris was the second representative of the United States to win the contest.[2]
