Joe Timmons (politician)
Joe Timmons is an American Democratic politician serving the 42nd district, which includes Whatcom County, Washington[1] in the Washington House of Representatives with Alicia Rule.[2] He won the seat in the 2022 election against Republican candidate Dan Johnson.[3]

Committees
He serves on three committees. He serves as vice chair on the committee on Transport.[4] He also serves on the committee on Education,[5] and the committee on Postsecondary Education and Workforce.[6][7]
Personal life
Joe grew up working at restaurants, a car wash, and in retail. He also served in the office of Washington Governor Jay Inslee as the Northwest Washington Regional Representative. He has also served on boards with the City of Bellingham and the Bellingham Food Bank.[8]
