Chicago Fire (season 11)
The eleventh season of Chicago Fire, an American drama television series with executive producer Dick Wolf, and producers Derek Haas and Matt Olmstead, was ordered on February 27, 2020, by NBC.[1] The season premiered on September 21, 2022.[2]

Production
Taylor Kinney's temporary departure
On January 20, 2023, NBC announced that Taylor Kinney who portrays Kelly Severide, would take a leave of absence for focus on a "personal matter." It was later announced that Kinney will not appear in the season finale.[25] Former cast member Jesse Spencer who has portrayed Captain Matthew Casey returned in a guest starring role in Kinney's absence and will return for the May 24 season finale.[26]
