Ahmad Tarmizi Sulaiman

Ahmad Tarmizi bin Sulaiman is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sik since May 2018. [1] He was the Deputy President of Majlis Perundingan Pertubuhan Islam Malaysia (MAPIM). He is a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party od the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.

In this Malay name, there is no family name. The name Sulaiman is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Ahmad Tarmizi. The Arabic-derived word "bin" or "binti"/"binte", if used, means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
