A Storm of Swords
The brotherhood engages the Brave Companions in the battle at the burning septry. Watty, positioned as a bowman, is injured by an opposing archer. When they leave the septry, he serves as a scout for the brotherhood.[4]
A Feast for Crows
After Beric's final death, a part of the Brotherhood, including Watty, apparently go their separate way from those who chose to follow the resurrected, vengeful Lady Stoneheart.[2]
