Ser Vaemond Velaryon was a knight of House Velaryon. He was the eldest of half a dozen nephews of Lord Corlys Velaryon. [1]
History
In an attempt to inherit Driftmark, Vaemond claimed the children of Ser Laenor Velaryon and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen were bastards. In response Rhaenyra had her second husband, Prince Daemon Targaryen, kill Vaemond. His wife, sons, and younger brothers had their tongues removed afterwards by King Viserys I Targaryen for similar reasons.[1]
