Tybolt Lannister was Lord of Casterly Rock and head of House Lannister. He was the eldest son and heir of Lord Damon Lannister. He had a younger brother, Gerold, who was his advisor.[1] He wed Teora Kyndall.

He had golden hair.[2]
History
Tourney at Ashford Meadow
Ser Tybolt participated in the tourney at Ashford Meadow in 209 ᴀᴄ, beginning the tourney as a challenger. In his first tilt he chose to challenge Ser Androw Ashford and defeated him after six broken lances. In one of his later tilts, Ser Tybolt was unhorsed by Ser Jon Penrose and broke his sword in his fall, but fought back with shield alone to win the bout and remain a champion.[2]
Lord of Castery Rock
Tybolt become Lord of Casterly Rock upon the death of his father, Lord Damon Lannister, during the Great Spring Sickness in 210 ᴀᴄ.[3] Despite being a young and healthy man, he died under suspicious circumstances in 212 ᴀᴄ, however. Tybolt was briefly succeeded by his three-year-old daughter, Cerelle Lannister, with Tybolt's younger brother Gerold as her regent.[4]
