The Village Hero is the working title of the fifth novella in the Dunk and Egg series.[1] Work on the novella has not yet begun. George R. R. Martin has expressed that he can not yet determine when the novella will be written, as he wishes to finish The Winds of Winter first and foremost. Currently, the story remains only "roughed out" in Martin's head.[1]
Plot
The Village Hero is said to take place in the Riverlands.[1]
