Son of the Sea Wind
Son of the Sea Wind is one of the self-fashioned titles of Balon Greyjoy, Lord of the Iron Islands and Lord Reaper of Pyke, who had risen in rebellion against the Iron Throne in 289 ᴀᴄ, declaring himself King of the Iron Islands.[1] After his defeat, he kept styling himself as Son of the Sea Wind.[2]
Euron Greyjoy, who succeeded Balon as King of the Isles and the North during the War of the Five Kings, also declared himself Son of the Sea Wind.[3]
