Skyreach
Skyreach is the seat of House Fowler in Dorne. It is located at the southern end of the Prince's Pass, south of Kingsgrave and near a river that flows east to Yronwood.[1][2]
History
The ancient castle of Skyreach was the home to the First Men kings of House Fowler. It was carved into the stone which overlooked the Wide Way, the shortest and easiest route through the Red Mountains from Dorne to the Reach. Skyreach is known for its lofty perch and soaring towers.[3]
When Aegon the Conqueror invaded Dorne during the First Dornish War, Skyreach was among the many Dornish castles that were found abandoned. After Lord Fowler burned Nightsong, the Targaryens retaliated by sending their dragons against Skyreach and other Dornish seats.[4]
While growing up, Tyrion Lannister heard reports of a dwarf jester at Skyreach.[5]
