Qhorin Volmark was a Lord of Volmark and head of House Volmark.[1]
History
Qhorin claimed to be the heir of the black line of House Hoare after the death of King Harren the Black, as Qhorin's grandmother had been the younger sister of Harren's grandfather, King Harwyn Hardhand. He was the first of many rival claimants to the title King of the Iron Islands. King Aegon I Targaryen invaded Great Wyk, however, and slew Qhorin himself with Blackfyre in 2 ᴀᴄ.[1]
In 33 ᴀᴄ Lord Goren Greyjoy easily defeated a conspiracy to crown Qhorin's son.[1]
