John Mudd, also known as Old John Mudd, was a sellsword in service to the Golden Company. He was the father of Young John Mudd.[1]
History
His surname Mudd is of a house that had once loomed large in the histories of the Seven Kingdoms. He may or may not have been of House Mudd, as in the free companies a man can call himself whatever he chooses.[2] He may have been related to a serjeant in the company, Lorimas Mudd.
