Lord Rosby was a Lord of Rosby and head of House Rosby. His given name is not mentioned by Maester Yandel in The World of Ice & Fire.[1]
History
During the First Dornish War, King Aegon I Targaryen named Lord Rosby Castellan of Sunspear and Warden of the Sands, as the Martells had abandoned their seat of Sunspear. He was to be supported by Lord Harlen Tyrell's garrison at the Hellholt. When the Dornishmen soon returned from the shadow city, Rosby was quickly captured. He was killed in the Defenestration of Sunspear, with Princess Meria Martell throwing him from the top of the Spear Tower. It was considered a kinder death than most experienced by Aegon's allies in Dorne.[1]
