The Lhorulu is a river in western Essos. The Rhoynar consider it a daughter of the Rhoyne and nickname it the Smiling Daughter.[1] Its headwaters begin south of the Flatlands and the river flows southeast into the Rhoyne. The Sorrows sit at the confluence of the Lhorulu and the Rhoyne. Between the Lhorulu and Dagger Lake are the Golden Fields.[2][1]
