Archmaester Laurent was an archmaester of the Citadel. He wrote the book Old Places of the Trident, which states that there were thirty one weirwoods crowning High Heart at the time Erreg the Kinslayer came across the great hill and slaughtered the Children of the Forest and First Men defending it.[1]
