Isle of Whips

The Isle of Whips is a small, isolated island in the Jade Sea, largely barren and named for its role as a way station for slavers.^[1] It is situated off the southern coast of Essos, east of Great Moraq and northwest of Marahai. Northeast of the Isle of Whips is Yi Ti in Essos.^[2]

Behind the Scenes

The Isle of Whips has not yet been mentioned in A Song of Ice and Fire, only appearing in the map collection The Lands of Ice and Fire.
