House Lannett

House Lannett is a minor house from the westerlands. They are said to be distant kin to House Lannister of Casterly Rock. Like other kin of House Lannister, such as houses Lantell and Lanny, they are settled at Lannisport.^[1]

History

As some point in the Age of Heroes, House Lannister had grown so numerous that Casterly Rock could not contain all of them. Instead of tunneling out new passages and halls in the Rock, the members of the lesser branches left to make their home in a village a scant mile away. This village eventually grew into Lannisport.^[2]
