Hero is an Unsullied purchased by and sworn to Daenerys Targaryen. He is the second in command of Daenerys's Unsullied after Grey Worm.

Hero, along with six other of Daenerys's court Daario Naharis, Jhogo, Groleo and three of the kin of Hizdahr zo Loraq, are given over to the Yunkai'i as a guarantee of safe conduct to the seven Yunkish commanders who would enter Meereen.[1] Though the kin of Hizdahr are eventually released, Groleo is murdered by Bloodbeard and Jhogo, Daario and Hero remain prisoners of the Yunkai'i.[2]
