Gowen Baratheon was the third son of a reigning Lord of Storm's End.[1]

History

Gowen was married to Lady Tya Lannister. Together they had one son, who died in his infancy. Their marriage was the last between houses Lannister and Baratheon until the marriage of King Robert I Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister[1] some seventy-six years later.[N 1]

Notes

  1. In 298 ᴀᴄ, it has been roughly ninety years ago since Gowen and Tya were wed. Robert and Cersei were wed in 284 ᴀᴄ, making the difference in time between the two weddings roughly seventy-six years.
