Escutcheon
An escutcheon is the shield-shaped surface normally used to display the heraldic design of a coat of arms.[1] Most of the knights and noble houses of Westeros use "heater" shield-shaped escutcheons for their coats of arms.[2][3] However, in Dorne round shields are preferred, and thus round-shaped coats of arms.[4]
