While Brienne of Tarth waits for Dick Crabb, she reflects on the events at Highgarden when a group of knights made a wager on who would be the first to take her maidenhead. Ser Edmund was among those knights. To woo her he had brought her flowers and offered to ride with her.[1] After the bet was discovered Brienne sought out and defeated Ser Edmund during the melee at Bitterbridge.[2]
