Lady Dyanna Dayne was a member of House Dayne, the wife of King Maekar I Targaryen and the mother of Daeron, Aerion, Aemon, Aegon, Daella and Rhae Targaryen.[2] She died before 209 ᴀᴄ,[3] well before Maekar's ascendance to the Iron Throne in 221 ᴀᴄ, thus she never became Queen Consort.
History
On his way to the Ashford tourney in 209 ᴀᴄ, Ser Duncan the Tall mistakes young Prince Aegon Targaryen for a stableboy, and when the boy states that his mother is dead becomes convinced that he is an orphan.[3]
