... that the first seat from where Aegon I Targaryen ruled was called the Aegonfort? Aegon eventually decided it was not suited to be the seat of power for a king, so he temporarily moved his family from King's Landing back to Dragonstone. The Aegonfort was razed to the ground and construction of the Red Keep began.[1]
