A Dance with Dragons
Cleon succeeds the Butcher King as ruler of Astapor, after the latter's death.[1] His reign lasts eight days, before his throat is cut. His killer claims Cleon's throne, and quickly becomes known as King Cutthroat. At the same time, Cleon's concubine, who becomes known as Queen Whore, also claims his crown.[1][2]
