Bryan of Oldtown was a merchant-adventurer who once journeyed through the Shivering Sea. Hailing from Oldtown in the Reach, he was captain of the cog Spearshaker. He reported that the Dothraki language name for the lost race that inhabited the Kingdom of the Ifequevron means "those who walk in the woods". He also reported that the Ibbenese he met claimed these woods walkers bless households that leave offerings of leaf, stone, and water.[1]
