Lord Barthogan Stark, also called Barth Blacksword, was the fourth born son of Lord Cregan Stark, the third by his last wife Lady Lynara Stark.^[1]

History

Barthogan became Lord of Winterfell and head of House Stark after the death of his brother Jonnel, as Jonnel had no issue. He was killed when Skagosi rose up against Winterfell during the reign of King Daeron II Targaryen.^[2]

Barthogan is entombed in the crypts of Winterfell.^[3] He was succeeded as Lord of Winterfell by his younger brother, Brandon.^[1]
