Ngor Manyang

Ngor Manyang (born 13 December 1993) is a South Sudanese-Australian model and professional basketball player for the Diamond Valley of the NBL1.[1] Born in Khartoum, Manyang lived in Egypt between 1998 and 2000 before moving to Sydney Australia in 2000 as a young refugee. An experienced Public Speaker, Manyang is fueled by his passion for empowering individuals to help them facilitate their personal, social and educational development. Manyang hunger and determination for success and achievement has seen him walk the runway at Australia's biggest modeling show, Melbourne fashion week and featuring on The Iconic, City Beach and Justin Cassin.

Early life

Manyang Born in Khartoum, Sudan before living in Egypt 1998-2000 and then moved to Sydney, Australia in 2000 as refugee. Manyang fell in love with sport when i won school athletics in cross country. went on to represent school in Interschool athletics, state athletics and qualified for national competition. in 2006 Manyang moved to Perth, Western Australia. He started playing basketball for the school team in year 8 in 2008.

High School Career

Manyang attended high school at Kingsway Christian college, while Manyang was there he led Kingsway Christian college to All schools Champions WA during the 2008–2009 season then 2011–2012. 

Professional career

Manyang started his professional career at the age of 19 years old in 2013 at Kalamunda Eastern Suns and his since played in the NBL1, then was called SBL and has suited up for multiple teams. Manyang has been in the NBL since 2021, being a training player for Melbourne United during 2021–2022 season and South East Melbourne Phoenix during the 2022–2023 season.

Personal life

Manyang is also a professional model and writer. he has done studio photography, runway shows and brand marketing through modeling. Manyang was in the Melbourne fashion week 2022 runway and has appeared in The Iconic fashion modeling, Justin Cassin fashion modeling and City Beach fashion modeling.
