New Nigeria People's Party

The New Nigeria People's Party is a far-right[3] political party in Nigeria, predominantly active in Kano State. It contested the 2023 Nigerian presidential election, but its standard-bearer and leader, Rabiu Kwankwaso, came in 4th place, carrying only one state, its stronghold of Kano.[4]

Ideology

The NNPP is generally described as holding far-right or syncretic views, with far-right social stances and somewhat leftist economic policies.[5] This type of syncretisation is sometimes known as the Third Position.[6]
