Megalodacne grandipennis
Megalodacne grandipennis is a species of pleasing fungus beetle, in the family Erotylidae.[1] It is endemic to Tanzania and Namibia.[2][3] As is typical of species in the genus Megalodacne, Megalodacne grandipennis feeds on bracket fungi.[4]

The species' name comes from Latin and Ancient Greek, "grandipennis" meaning "large wing" in Latin.[5]

Megalodacne grandipennis was discovered by Léon Fairmaire in 1891,[2][3] and contains the following subspecies:[1]
