Margherita Della Valle

Margherita Della Valle is an Italian businesswoman who has been the chief executive officer (CEO) of Vodafone since January 2023.[1][2][3]

Biography

Della Valle holds a master's degree in economics from Bocconi University.[4]

During her early career, Della Valle became part of Omnitel Pronto Italia, which transitioned to Vodafone Italy in 1994.[5] She held the role of Chief Financial Officer for Vodafone Italy between 2004 and 2007.[5]

Between 2015 and 2018, Della Valle served as Vodafone's Deputy Chief Financial Officer.[5]

In April 2023, Della Valle was appointed as the CEO of Vodafone, becoming the first female CEO of the company.[4] Previously, Della Valle has held the position of Chief Financial Officer since July 2018 and temporarily assumed the role of CEO in January, succeeding Nick Read.[4][6]
