Marcela Trujillo

Marcela Trujillo (Santiago de Chile, 1969), better known by her pseudonym Maliki,[1] is a Chilean visual artist, painter, cartoonist[2]2 and professor who has dabbled mainly in figurative art,[3] and neo-pop.[4] She is also one of the first exponents of Chilean autobiographical comics.[5]

Biography

He studied fine arts at the University of Chile, which he later complemented at the Art Students League of New York, in New York and the School of Visual Arts in the same city.[6] In her work, we can appreciate the use of mixed techniques in works of variable size; while "in her first exhibitions she made female portraits, creating faces that stood out against the backgrounds.
