Maestro United, made its debut in the country's top-tier football league during the 58th season in 2019. However, their initial stint in the league was short-lived, as they were subsequently relegated to division one within the same season. Nonetheless, the club showed resilience and determination, earning promotion once again during the 62nd season of the Zambian Super League in the 2022–23 season.[6]

The 2022–23 season marked the second occasion in Maestro United's history where they achieved a position in the flight football and finished second in the league.[7] Notably, alongside their league campaign, the club also participated in the ABSA Cup, a prestigious tournament and progressed through the tournament, eventually reaching the grand final.[8][9]
