Buick Envista

The Buick Envista is a compact crossover SUV with a sloping rear roofline produced by General Motors under the Buick brand since 2022. It was unveiled for the Chinese market in August 2022.[1] In April 2023, GM introduced the vehicle in the United States.[2]

Overview

The Envista rides on GM's VSS-F platform shared with the Chevrolet Trax/Seeker.

In China, the Envista is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 181 hp (135 kW; 184 PS) and 183 lb⋅ft (248 N⋅m; 25.3 kg⋅m) of torque paired with a CVT gearbox. The North American market Envista is powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 136 hp (101 kW; 138 PS) and 162 lb⋅ft (220 N⋅m; 22.4 kg⋅m).[3]

The interior of the Envista has a dashboard featuring a single panel combining an 8-inch screen for driver instruments and an 11-inch screen for infotainment. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are offered, as well as over-the-air updates and a surround-sound audio system.[2]
