This portal is dedicated to any Books published about, or in anyway related to George R. R. Martin and A Song of Ice and Fire, Epic fantasy novel and in its universe.

A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin, consists of five published volumes:

• A Game of Thrones (1996)
• A Clash of Kings (1998)
• A Storm of Swords (2000)
• A Feast for Crows (2005)
• A Dance with Dragons (2011)

The remaining two novels are titled:

• The Winds of Winter
• A Dream of Spring

Additionally there are also three prequel novellas, set in the same world, roughly 90 years before the main events, commonly known as the "Tales of Dunk and Egg" after their main protagonists:

• The Hedge Knight (1998)
• The Sworn Sword (2003)
• The Mystery Knight (2010)
• A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2015) (collection of the first three novellas)

Three novellas based on chapter sets from the books:

• Blood of the Dragon (Asimov’s, July 1996).
• Path of the Dragon (Asimov’s, December 2000).
• Arms of the Kraken (Dragon issue 305, August 2002).

Three novellas, prequels based on house Targaryen:

• The Princess and the Queen (2013)
• The Rogue Prince, or, the King's Brother (2014)
• The Sons of the Dragon (2017)

• The Lands of Ice and Fire, a boxed collection of twelve A Song of Ice and Fire map posters, stretching from Westeros to Asshai. (2012)
• The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones, a companion volume to the A Song of Ice and Fire novels. (2014)
• A Game of Thrones (comics), adaptation of A Game of Thrones.(2011 – ongoing)
• A Feast of Ice and Fire, a cookbook of recipes derived from dishes and meals from Westeros and Essos.(2012)
• A Game of Groans, Parody about the Song of Ice and Fire series.(TBA)
• Beyond the Wall, collection of essays, exploring the series influences and narrative choices.(2012)
